The Start of the Journey

When the world came to a standstill during the COVID lockdown, much of life as we knew it was paused. Suddenly, there was no rush to get to work, no hectic commutes or long hours spent in transit. What once seemed like a disruption turned into a divine opportunity—a chance to slow down and reevaluate what truly matters. With the time I would have spent in traffic now freed up, I found myself turning more deeply to the Word of God.

In the quiet stillness of those early days of the pandemic, the Spirit of God began to stir in my heart. The familiar scriptures I had read countless times began to take on new meaning, and a powerful desire to understand my true identity in Christ grew within me. I began to ask the question, Who am I in Christ Jesus? It was a question I thought I knew the answer to, but in that season, I realized I had only scratched the surface.

As I spent more time in prayer and study, the Holy Spirit led me to dive into the scriptures with a fresh perspective. I discovered a new depth to the promises of God—how He sees me, how He empowers me, and how He has called me to walk out His purpose on this earth. The more I studied, the more I began to understand that I wasn’t just a follower of Christ; I was His representative, His body on earth, fully equipped with His power and authority to accomplish the work He had set before me.

This study radically transformed my thinking. I began to see myself not as someone trying to meet a distant expectation but as someone who had already been empowered by the grace of God to do what He had called me to do. My mind was renewed by the truth of who I really am in Christ—righteous, redeemed, and equipped for every good work. No longer was I simply reacting to the world around me; I was embracing the truth that I had been given everything I needed to live out my calling with boldness and confidence.

As I share this study with you, my hope is that it will encourage and inspire you to fully embrace who you are in Christ. You are not just an individual trying to survive the challenges of life—you are the Body of Christ on the earth, equipped and empowered to be His hands and feet in a broken world. This is not just a theological idea; it’s a living, breathing reality that can change the way you view yourself and the way you live your life every day. Together, let’s discover what it truly means to be being Christ on the earth, walking in the fullness of His calling and power.
